“This is an international issue, so we do not know the answer to this question. The fact is that, like all countries, I am always concerned to maintain our relationship with a country that has an important contribution to India’s strategic interest. The relationship with my Indian counterpart in this regard has been good and is growing every day,” he said.
“I am grateful to my Indian counterpart for the efforts of bringing up this issue, as it is, as you said, a very strategic issue for us.

This is the second visit of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Saudi Arabia this month.
On Wednesday, in the past 24 hours, he visited Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan.
The Prime Minister had announced in July, after signing an MoU for India-Saudi cooperation on boosting defence ties, a $2 billion loan from the Saudi Arabia Development Fund in return for buying $25 billion worth of Indian products and services.
The two sides signed a MoU to promote manufacturing of armoured vehicles, helicopters, guns, cannons, torpedoes, ammunition, explosives and other equipment in the area of defence, the PMO said on Friday.

During his visit, Modi met with King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, Minister of Defense Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Minister of Defence Prince Muhammad bin Salman, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Defence Minister Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and heads of the national security and defence committees of the two countries.
In the last few days, the New York Times has reported on a study by Yale Law School that shows that people born at different times in history are much less likely to commit crimes than people born at the same time.
The study’s authors have been criticized, including by a group of prominent conservatives. But it’s worth a look:
For decades it has been argued that crime tends to fall around the same ages as it rises. But some economists say the study’s method of accounting for differences in life expectancy, and the assumption that people are more or less likely to commit crimes in midlife, may explain the opposite result.
