If you’re like most filmmakers, or at least most of us, you have to do some actual work as a filmmaker before you can really get started. This is often more important than you’d think because this is where you learn about the medium and the ins-and-outs of making films.
The same goes for your technical abilities, and whether you have the requisite skills to be a good teacher. So where do you draw the line between making a film and a job? How far would you go to make a film that requires technical skills? Let us know your thoughts on this in the comments!

I have been using Sennheiser HD800 to listen to a lot of music which gives me the feeling that it’s a well made and capable headphone. I have to say that the bass is just how it is in the HD800. That said, it does not come across that strong. That is not to say that the bass is bad, but that it is lacking. I could have said that the bass is too flat, or that the bass is lacking in definition, but I could not tell you that. All I can say is that it does come across that strong, and the soundstage is not bad at all. It is better then most headphones in the bass department. The mids sound a bit distant and lack definition. Again, that is not to say that those are bad headphones, but they do not sound as good. The highs sound kind of dull, but in that area I can’t complain either. I am using the HD800 with an earphone cable. So I could have gotten a wireless connection, but I really did not want to wait to get one. I will say that I will have to play around more with the sound, and see where it goes.
